Francesca's recent film credits include Vicky in 'Staying Whole', Mrs Cratchit in 'A Christmas Carol', and is currently in pre-production for 'The Asset' part of the UK Superhero Project for Rotunda Films. More recently Francesca has appeared in BBC TV's 'Eastenders'
Away from the camera, Francesca has toured the UK in Oscar Wilde's 'A Woman of No Importance' and 'The Importance of Being Earnest' She appeared in the new play 'Women of Aktion' which toured the UK and Germany.
MARJI CAMPI
Fiona
Marji Campi is best known for playing Joyce Watson in the British comedy series 'Surgical Spirit'. She has had an extensive career in television including major roles in 'Brookside' and 'Coronation Street'. She has appeared in 'Heartbeat', 'Doctors', "The Bill', 'Casualty', 'Eastenders' and 'Where the Heart Is'. She recently appeared in the hit ITV series 'Cold Feet' from 2016 - 2020 and the comedy 'Way to Go'.
Her stage experience includes work at Chester, Colchester, Hull and in various London venues. She reprised her role as Shirley Valentine at the English-Speaking Theatre in Frankfurt. She played Martha in Arsenic and Old Lace at Salisbury Playhouse and the twin roles of Barbara/Dorothy in Country Life in London.
TAYLOR LAPWORTH
Sylvia aged 12
Taylor started acting at a very young age. She has appeared in numerous regional youth theatre productions including Mrs Dilber in 'Scrooge', Chuck in the 'Vackees', Rusty Charlie in 'Guys and Dolls', Sally in 'Me and My Girl' and Anybodys in 'West Side Story'.
'The Lossen' is Taylor's first film appearance.
JACE DESAY
The New Lossen
Jace changed careers 13 years ago to pursue acting. He graduated in 2008 at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.
He has made numerous television appearances including the acclaimed hit US show '24: Live Another Day', 'Coronation Street', 'Emmerdale' and ITV1's 'Married Single Other'. As well as other film roles he also played the lead in 'Mumbai Charlie', an award winning short film set in India and inspired by the life and work of Charlie Chaplin.
LAW BALLARD
Sylvia's mother
Law has appeared in numerous stage productions including 'Accidentally on Purpose', 'Broken', 'Unresolved' and 'Hamlet' for the Actor's Temple Company.
She played Katherine Taylor in 'Banged Up Abroad' for Channel 5 and Raw Television. Law has also appeared in numerous short film including 'Land: Dream' for Milkshake and TidalWave and 'Into the Dark' for Temple Productions. Law is also a director and acting coach and is the artist director for the Actor's Temple based in Warren Street, London.
